Instructions for Bismarck Pastry Recipe

  1. Make a dough

First, put the yeast in the boiling milk and dissolve it well. Take a well-spaced bowl and add all-purpose flour, sugar, egg yolks, salt, and butter at room temperature to it. Add the prepared yeast and mixed milk to it, and knead it well.

  1. Seasoned Dough.

Knead for at least ten minutes, preferably more, until smooth. You might use a mixer with a dough hook.

Round the future dough into a ball, put it in the ball, and cover it well with a polythene cover. Keep it in a dark place for two hours and let it expand.

  1. Cut into pieces.

After the mixture has set well for about two hours, take it out and cut it into eight portions. Roll the cut pieces back into balls. Keep them on a board or a flat plate a little apart from each other. Cover it with a clean cloth and keep it there for 2-4 hours. They will expand, creating space between them.

Thus, after 2-4 hours, you can see how those small balls have expanded well.

  1. Fry the donut.

Take a pan and fill it 2/3 full with oil, then heat it on a low flame. When the oil is hot, put the previously prepared donut balls in the pan and fry well, turning both sides with a spoon until they turn golden.

  1. Prepare the sugar mixture.

Prepare the sugar mixture required for coating the donuts. You may adjust the sweetness and spice level using sugar and cinnamon powder.

  1. Jam Filling.

Using a nozzle with a slightly long tip, pierce the donut bun slightly on one side and fill it with as much jam as needed. For this, you can use jam prepared at home or jam of the desired taste from the market.
